Day 10 — Tick Tock

It seems like all my thoughts from yesterday’s entry paid off. I was able to find what I wanted for my song ‘Rebirth’ and yesterday night we were able to finally finish it! I believe today we’ll be working on my song ‘Apology’, which leans more toward a strings rock genre, we’ll see how it goes!

We realized yesterday that starting next week we’re supposed to be recording all the instruments, how crazy is that?! Time went by flying fast. So these days I’ll be keeping myself busy writing scores. We’ll be recording drums, double bass, cello, viola, and two violins. I’m both nervous and excited. I want my arrangements to be clear and playable for the musicians, and this time I’ve been trying to write more aggressive passages to really bring the rock n roll colors to my music. I’m going to learn a lot from this experience, that’s for sure.
