Day 3 and 4 — Moving on to phase 2!

I decided to mash-up days 3 and 4 because of the type of work that we’ve been doing. I’m excited to tell you that we’re done with all our pre-production planning :) and starting next week the ideas we discussed in the studio these few days will finally come to life.

Right now I’m home getting started on a few of the things we discussed. I’m sequencing a small viola and cello arrangement for one of the songs I thought was going to be only for voice and piano. It might seem like a small detail but it really makes the sections of my song more emotional and engaging. I have to work a few sections of the lyrics as well. The song is called ‘Your light’, and It has been very challenging to write it. I’ve changed it a thousand times over the last two years and I kid you not I have tons of little post-its, voice notes, cellphone notes, etc, with fragments I added or removed from the lyrics. So wish me luck!
