Day 6 — The beat of the spiral

Today was a short day at Psicofonia Studio , but equally enjoyable than the past days. We started working on my song ‘The H is Silent’. I’m loving the new beats we worked on today. After years of depending on pre-fabricated beats or awkwardly-made beats played by me, I can finally have a drummer giving life to the rhythmic section of my songs.

I classify the songs of this album by level of madness: there’s sentimental madness, philosophical madness, and raw madness. That’s how the spiral of the album goes. ‘The H is Silent’ belongs to the philosophical madness category. I took a really weird idea I had involving the letter ‘H’, and made a song about the things that are present in our lives, but remain secret (or silent wink wink) . I had a lot of fun writing this song and I left little puzzles in the lyrics for you to explore. I am extremely proud of this one and I look forward to showing you the finished version!
